From Insight to Impact: Mapping Communities That Matter

By Invitation Day 2 | ESG Festival 2026

What happens when we stop guessing — and start listening?

On Day 2 of the ESG Festival, we take you behind the scenes of a real, on-the-ground initiative across four public housing communities. This is where ESG moves beyond theory — into people, places, and practical action.

Please note: Submission does not guarantee a seat. All requests will be reviewed to ensure a balanced and relevant audience

Why This Project Matters

This is a photo from one of project site. Too often, community programmes are designed based on assumptions. Different communities are treated the same. Resources are deployed without clarity. And impact becomes difficult to measure. We asked a different question: What if we truly understood each community before acting?

Each Community Tells A Unique Story

Some showed strong NGO presence but fragmented efforts.
Others had limited external support despite clear needs.
Some communities were ready for programme activation.
Others required deeper trust-building first.

Across the four sites, recurring themes emerged:

livelihood and income instability
youth engagement and future pathways
financial stress at the household level
infrastructure and quality-of-life challenges

Why is this project unique?
Our campus is a world of its own—but real challenges exist beyond it. This project closes that gap by stepping into PPR communities, listening first, and grounding our work in real-life experiences.
How did we approach it?
It is about building a community intelligence foundation that enables: more targeted interventions stronger collaboration with existing partners better use of resources clearer measurement of outcomes
What important questions did we asked?
Instead of asking “What should we do?” We now ask: “What is truly needed here — and where can we contribute meaningfully?”
